– New England-based Ascentria Care Alliance announces the hire of Patrick Williams
to the position of vice president of Quality and Compliance. Williams, who joined Ascentria on January 23, will focus on quality, service, and improved performance for Ascentria’s programs with the goal of increasing the value that Ascentria programs provide for its customers.
“We are fortunate to have Patrick join us at Ascentria,” comments Tim Johnstone, executive vice president of Community Services. “He offers a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will help us better demonstrate our effectiveness with all our programs.”
Williams brings extensive experience to his new role including LEAN process improvement credentials from Villanova University, MBA and MS degrees in organizational leadership from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Maine. Prior to joining Ascentria, Williams held a number of key leadership positions with Covenant Health, a New England network of healthcare organizations based in Tewksbury, MA. Most recently, Patrick was the System Director of LEAN Transformation for Covenant Health, leading the implementation of a nationally recognized management method.
"I'm excited to be joining Ascentria because of how Ascentria connects with the community in many different ways,” notes Williams. “The diversity of the people served, the programs offered and the locations supported is incredible. My challenge is to measure the successes and improve the quality of work already taking place in each area of Ascentria. ”
A native of Maine, Williams will be working with Ascentria leaders and locations across New England and will be based in Ascentria’s Westbrook, Maine office. An avid cyclist, Williams enjoys giving back to his community and recently completed the 180 mile Trek Across Maine to benefit the American Lung Association for the sixth time.
