Angela Bovill, President and CEO of Ascentria Care Alliance Angela Bovill is president and CEO of Ascentria Care Alliance. She joined the organization in 2008 as chief financial officer, was named chief operating officer in 2011, and became president and CEO in January, 2013. Before joining Ascentria, Angela was general manager of Digital Services for IDEXX Laboratories, where she worked for 17 years in business development, mergers and acquisitions, and turnarounds. While at IDEXX, she created and launched two new service lines, and turned around a new business acquisition from a major loss to the most profitable in the company.

Angela graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern Maine, majoring in Economics, and earned an MBA with honors from Boston University. She has completed multiple executive education programs, including at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza School of Business and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

As president and CEO of Ascentria, Angela has led a transformation of the nonprofit – streamlining, rebranding and changing the model of care to be more human-centered and partnership-focused. With a new vision, name, strategy and leadership team, Ascentria is leading the human services sector in innovation and holistic care.

Dana Ramish Dana Ramish is executive vice president of Residential Services. He joined Ascentria in 2013. He has held senior leadership roles in several hospitals and health systems, and most recently served as CEO of a senior living community in Boston. Dana received a BA from Kalamazoo College and a MM (master of management) with distinction from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma, the national business honorary society. Dana has been a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives since 1990 and currently serves on the board of LeadingAge Massachusetts.

Tim Johnstone joined Ascentria in February 2016 as executive vice president and leads its Community Services division of programs throughout New England. These programs include the Florence House in Worcester, the Ruth House in Brockton, Forsberg Independent Living. Services for New Americans, Language Bank, and adoption, foster care, and disability services.

Before joining Ascentria, Tim was chief strategy officer for Hopelink, a large Seattle area community action agency. He also led the Clarity, Impact and Performance Project, a coalition of 53 anti-poverty agencies across Oregon, Washington and Idaho serving more than 1.5 million people annually. Prior roles include president of Johnstone Advantage Consulting Group, senior vice president and division manager at JP Morgan Chase, and vice president of operations and manufacturing at a telecommunications company.
 
Tim was the recipient of the 2015 Evergreen Award, presented by the Washington Nonprofit Association, for a proven track record of outstanding leadership. 
 
   
James Coyle, chief financial officer (CFO), Ascentria Care Alliance
James Coyle, chief financial officer (CFO), joined Ascentria in January 2017 and leads the organization’s financial strategy and accountability functions.  Jim brings extensive experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. 
 
Before joining Ascentria, Coyle held a number of executive positions including chief financial officer/chief operating officer at MIT Technology Review, a global media company and publisher of MIT Technology Review magazine and technologyreview.com web site; and treasurer of MIT Enterprise Forum, a global entrepreneurial organization, which helps technology entrepreneurs better commercialize their businesses.  
 
Coyle holds an MBA in accounting from Bentley University, in Waltham, MA, and a bachelor of science in economics/finance from Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, NH. 
Candace Cramer is chief development officer for Ascentria Care Alliance. She joined Ascentria in 2013. She has more than 16 years experience as a fundraising professional with expertise in the development and implementation of mission-based fundraising and volunteer strategies for sustainable growth.  Previously, Candace founded and served as managing director of CNC Nonprofit Consulting, which provides strategic counsel, planning, and fund development services to national and regional nonprofits in the educational, healthcare and cultural sectors.  Prior to her work with CNC Nonprofit Consulting, she served as national director of Individual Gifts for Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (now Learning Ally).  In the private sector, Candace held the role of CFO and director of human resources for Benefit Designs, Inc., and was also a senior manager with Deloitte & Touche. She received a BA in economics and music from Albion College. She holds an MA in Nonprofit Management from the University of Cincinnati, as well as an MBA. Candace is also a certified public accountant.

Jodie Justofin Jodie Justofin is vice president of Strategic Marketing and Communications. She joined Ascentria in July 2013 and brings 20+ years of strategic marketing, communications, branding and planning experience to the organization. She has held senior leadership positions in healthcare marketing, most recently at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. Previously, she served as vice president of Marketing and Planning at Saints Medical Center in Lowell, Mass., and also held marketing management positions at UMass Memorial Medical Center and Cambridge Health Alliance. With a passion for wellness and connecting people to the resources they need to live healthy, productive lives, Jodie’s work earned several national Aster and Telly advertising awards and regional NESHCO Lamplighter communication awards. She received her bachelor’s degree cum laude in advertising from Syracuse University and her MBA cum laude in marketing from Boston College. Jodie is a member of several professional strategic marketing, communications and wellness organizations.

Nancy Meegan joined Ascentria in May 2016 as vice president and leads its human resources function with a base of 1,700 employees throughout New England.  Before joining Ascentria, Nancy held leadership positions in human resources, organizational effectiveness and quality management at area nonprofits. She also worked for the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health. Nancy has focused her career in the nonprofit sector supporting mission driven organizations dedicated to disadvantaged and marginalized populations.  She is a champion for the dedicated and outstanding staff working in nonprofits and has led initiatives focused on employee engagement, learning management and professional development.   
 
Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Boston University and a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College.  She also attended the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and the London School of Economics.
 
Michael Alden Michael Alden is vice president/general manager of Social Enterprise for Ascentria Care Alliance. He recently worked as a manager in the restructuring practice of Grant Thornton LLP in New York City, and previously worked at Ernst & Young LLP in Boston. Michael graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, and has an MS from the University of Virginia as well as an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. He is a member of the Worcester Economic Club, and has completed the Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) Exam. Michael completed a social innovation certificate program at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and speaks at conferences across the U.S. on business model transformation and sustainable enterprise.

Nick Russo Nick Russo is senior director of Treasury for Ascentria Care Alliance. Nick has been with Ascentria following employment at Haemonetics Corporation. He holds a BS from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., an MBA from Babson College, Wellesley, Mass., and is a certified treasury professional (CTP). Mr. Russo is a member for the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP), the Global Corporate Treasurer's Council (CTC) and the Financial Executives International – Boston Chapter (FEI), and on the board of directors for the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, Cambridge, Mass.
