Having worked in the child protection field for more than 14 years, Jessica has dedicated her life to helping New Hampshire’s children. In her 11 years with Ascentria Care Alliance, she has worked tirelessly providing foster homes, emergency support, and crisis management for children who have been removed from their families. Jessica has personally advocated for and bettered the lives of more than 600 children. She received the Gene W. Allison Distinguished Member Award in 2014, the Patriot Award in 2015 and she is an instructor for Granite State College, teaching “caregiver training” courses to foster and adoptive parents.
Jessica faces traumatic situations on a daily basis yet brings joy and a positive attitude wherever she goes. “I am constantly amazed at the resiliency children and families have” comments Jessica. ”I have witnessed heartbreaking stories turn into amazing successes. Every family has the potential for positive change…it’s finding the right support and services to motivate and sustain that change. This is what keeps me going!”
