Your gift will help us continue to support refugees during this uncertain time.

We are so grateful for your interest in supporting Ascentria’s Services for New Americans program and those we serve, however we are unable to accept any new volunteer applications in New Hampshire at this time.

To make a difference for refugees in New England, please make a donation today to our refugee program, or do any of the following:
  • Donate items or coordinate a drive to collect basic necessities to help newly-arrived refugees. To learn more about their needs, contact: MA: 774.243.3100 (Worcester), 413.787.0725 (Westfield), and NH: 603.224.8111 (Concord).
  • Participate in a local educational forum or community rally supporting refugee resettlement, take photos and share the experience on social media.
  • Engage in conversation with family, friends and colleagues about the benefits that refugees bring to our communities and country. Share your knowledge about refugees and resettlement.
  • Advocate by contacting your elected representatives today: Visit: for contact information, or call
1.866.961.293. Inform them that your community welcomes refugees and urge them to do everything they can to ensure we resettle more refugees next year.

Sample Script: “I’m your constituent from [CITY/TOWN]. I strongly support refugee resettlement and urge you to do everything in your power to increase the number of refugees resettled in the United States.  Please protect the U.S. refugee resettlement program. My community welcomes refugees, and I urge you to reflect the values of compassion and hospitality.”
  • Tweet (@mention) your senators and representatives today
  • Sign petitions and contact your local and national government officials to express your support of refugee resettlement.
  • Visit our national partners, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service at  and Church World Services for additional information and ways to get involved in support of refugees and immigrants.
  • Post on Facebook and Twitter using hashtags like #RefugeesWelcome #WeAreAllAmerica. See this No Muslim Ban Messaging Guide, information on refugee admissions, and resources on engaging local media outlets.
