At Ascentria Care Alliance, we believe welcoming refugees and immigrants reaffirms our American values. We offer a continuum of community-based programs for refugees and immigrants in Massachusetts and New Hampshire that aim to help new Americans achieve independence and stability.

 

Immigration Legal Assistance Program

New England

The Ascentria Immigration Legal Assistance Program provides free and low-cost legal services to immigrants in New England. Our team of lawyers and legal professionals provides a full spectrum of immigration legal assistance needs, including removal defense for non-detained individuals; survivors of human trafficking and violent crimes, including domestic abuse; persecution; torture; and minors and unaccompanied children who have suffered abuse, abandonment, neglect or other trauma.

Services for New Americans

New Hampshire

Ascentria Services for New Americans has been working to resettle and establish families fleeing conflict and oppression in their homeland since 1997. With our support, more than 3,000 refugees from 28 countries have made New Hampshire their new home, and contribute to our local communities’ economies and cultural life.

Massachusetts

Working in conjunction with the U.S. Department of State and the Massachusetts Office of Refugees and Immigrants, Ascentria Services for New Americans resettles and establishes individuals and families fleeing conflict and oppression in their homeland.  Since its establishment, refugees from around the globe have made Massachusetts their new home and contribute to our local communities’ economies and cultural life.

Unaccompanied Refugee Minors

Massachusetts

The Unaccompanied Refugee Minors Program (URMP) is the only foster care program in New England that provides foster care to unaccompanied refugee and immigrant children. URMP provides training, licensing, and ongoing support of foster parents for unaccompanied refugee minors.
