You can make a difference!

Do you have a talent, interest or expertise that you would like to share? Do you enjoy making a positive difference in the lives of others? If so, become a volunteer with Ascentria Care Alliance! Our volunteers collaborate with us in productive and creative ways to strengthen our communities. Their work empowers our clients. Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place.

Often, unprecedented times call for innovation and bold actions. With the impending arrival of at Afghans last summer, Ascentria concluded that the best way to effectively resettle would be to tap into the power of local communities for help.

To mobilize the generous, caring public into a network of support, Ascentria has partnered with local communities and organizations to engage volunteers throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. By organizing Neighborhood Support Teams (NSTs), each comprised of 20-30 volunteers that are overseen by an Ascentria case manager, together we are creating a sustainable community-based model of resettlement.

Neighborhood Support Teams will be a crucial part of the support systems in place for Ukrainian arrivals in your community. Will you join in this effort?

Providing tutoring, mentoring, child care, pro bono professional services and skills training are just a few examples of how our volunteers help create real and lasting change in others.

Ascentria employees and the people that we serve truly appreciate and value our volunteers! Our volunteers enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. They find their work to be interesting and tremendously rewarding. Many of our volunteers have shared with us that making a positive impact on the well-being of others is life changing and leaves them feeling personally fulfilled.
