Ascentria works to settle Ukrainians in western Mass.

Ascentria Care Alliance, based in Worcester, has been helping families fleeing Ukraine and coming to western Massachusetts. Since welcoming the first family in April, the nonprofit has been inundated with what it calls “walk-ins,” or unofficial refugees, seeking services.
